VIZ Media At New York-Tokyo Music Festival in Central Park!

VIZ Media is pleased to announce its presence at the second annual New York-Tokyo Music Festival, taking place Saturday, September 30, in Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield. The sprawling event will provide a captivating afternoon of music, gaming and anime, offering live hip hop and electronic performances from the likes of TALIB KWELI and DJ A-TRAK, and from Japan, HIFANA, MIGHTY CROWN and PE’Z.

VIZ Media will lend support by giving away a variety of samplers from its hit monthly manga magazines SHONEN JUMP and SHOJO BEAT as well as a variety of other free premiums to showcase several critically acclaimed manga series like MONSTER and feature films like TRAIN MAN: DENSHA OTOKO.

The 2006 New York-Tokyo Music Festival is designed to inspire creative art and youth culture and fuel a spirit of ‘East Meets West.’ It also heightens the exposure of the pop culture phenomenon of manga and anime throughout North America. VIZ Media has been a driving force in building this bridge for over 20 years and looks forward to new and longtime anime and manga fans coming out to enjoy a FREE day of anime, manga, music, games and more!
