Review
BS#6 is based on the hit manga Blue Submarine No. 6 in 1960 by Ozawa-san. The scientist Zorndyke has seemingly turned his back on humanity, creating a race of beast/ people to challenge the humans for global supremacy. Now it’s up to Mayumi Kino, a young female pilot, Tetsu Hayumi, a jaded veteran soldier and the flagship, the Blue Submarine No. 6. to stop him. About 90% of the show was done in 3D, the action, water, and the mechs. As I was watching BS#6, I was wondering if this series will be the same hit if it was done all in 2D. Turns out that without the 3D effects, BS#6 overall, would be dull.

The Breakdown
BS#6 is good when there isn’t anything else to watch, of course this series had the most 3D effects I’ve seen that actually made a difference in the overall product.
