VIZ Media has announced that it will serve as an official distribution partner for Aniplex of America’s domestic debut of the BLUE EXORCIST anime series. VIZ will carry the new action series (subtitled) on its VIZAnime website beginning Wednesday, April 20th, just days after its eagerly anticipated debut on Japanese TV on April 17th. Scheduled to open in Japanese theatres on April 29. The trailer for Onigamiden, debuted on YouTube, Friday. The film is about a boy who travels back in time to the Heian period, and faces a war between demons and humans in Kyoto. The anime is an adaptation of the novel by Takafumi Takada.
