Hey fans, this isn’t an April Fools, but I’ve posted some anime news today and while I was going through the site statistics I saw that people were still entering from the old ASAAA.htm files. We haven’t used HTML since the site went PHP a few years ago. And when I was looking for the PHP version of these two Animesou Annual Anime Awards pages, there were none. Anyways, I took some time and transferred the two ASAAAs to the new layout. While yes, these pages are old, but its fun to go back and look at what kinds of anime were out back in the day. :D. Here are the 2003 and 2004 ASAAAs. There will be some more updates soon; currently working on it!

I am sure by now many of you have heard of the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that has hit Japan. The media coverage on it has been really in-depth and from watching the videos of the devastation, it just affects you as a human being. We at Animesou, wish everyone affected by the earthquake the best of luck and if anybody wants to contribute to the relief efforts, Yahoo has compiled a list of places you can donate to help over here. I will certainly contribute as much as I can to help.

Another year has passed, may the bad of 2010 be left behind and the good/new experiences continue on to 2011! Be safe all!

Wow, it has been a while since I have last posted a site update and I have to say, after a much needed two and a half weeks vacation out of the country, I feel so much better. While the anime news in the U.S. really hasn’t been what it used to be, I’ve been looking into what is happening over in Japan. Hopefully, more ideas will continue to flow. In the meantime, here is The Watcher Edition 18: Fall 2010 Anime Releases. Sorry I cannot write up on every single anime that came out during the Fall, I do do things outside of watching anime. (o_O);;
